Important information governing rates, transactions, identity verification and receipts.
1. Informational rates
Foreign exchange rates displayed on this website are strictly for informational and directional purposes. Global financial markets fluctuate constantly. Final exchange rates are locked and executed at the time of your physical transaction at our business premises.
2. Regulatory compliance
Transactions are governed by the Foreign Exchange Act of Tanzania and regulations enforced by the Bank of Tanzania. Local prices and domestic settlements must be executed in Tanzanian Shillings (TZS).
3. Identity verification (KYC)
To buy or sell foreign currency, clients are required to present valid, government-issued physical identification, such as a NIDA card, valid international passport or Zanzibar Resident ID, to satisfy AML and KYC requirements.
4. Transaction receipts
A valid electronic or physical fiscal receipt is issued for every transaction. Customers should verify and collect their receipt before leaving the counter.
